Licensed Medicare Insurance Sales Manager (Remote)
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Job Type: Full-Time (1099 Independent Contractor)
Starting Pay: $75,000/year base + bonus opportunity
Reports To: Sales Director / Agency Principal
About the Role
We’re seeking a Licensed Medicare Insurance Sales Manager to lead and support a remote team of Medicare sales agents. This role focuses on coaching, performance management, process improvement, and maintaining a compliant, high-quality sales experience for every prospect.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and motivate a remote Medicare sales team to achieve enrollment and quality targets
Conduct regular 1:1s, call coaching, and performance reviews
Support recruiting, onboarding, and training for new agents (product, process, and compliance)
Monitor team activity and pipeline in the CRM; track KPIs and reporting
Ensure sales conversations and marketing activities align with Medicare and carrier compliance requirements
Partner with leadership to improve scripts, workflows, and sales conversion strategy
Support seasonal readiness (AEP/OEP) including staffing, training, and execution
Required Qualifications
Active, current health insurance license (resident or non-resident as applicable) and ability to maintain licensing/appointments
Working knowledge of Medicare products and compliant selling (MA/MAPD/PDP; SNP knowledge is a plus)
Strong remote leadership skills with the ability to coach performance through calls, metrics, and process
Comfortable using CRMs, reporting dashboards, and virtual tools (Zoom/Teams, etc.)
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a remote sales manager role (insurance and/or Medicare preferred)
Experience managing performance, coaching calls, and driving results in a remote environment
Compensation
$75,000/year starting base
Performance-based bonus opportunity (details provided during interview/contracting process)
Contractor Classification (1099)
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licensing upkeep, and any other business expenses associated with performing the role.
